SPF President Lonnie Rowell is Lead Editor for the just-published Palgrave International Handbook of Action Research. Rowell led a team of four editors in a three-year plus initiative that resulted in a major contribution to the field of action research and participatory research. The Handbook has 49 chapters and includes 86 authors from around the world. A virtual Book Launch event was held December 1, 2016 with participation by the four editors and a number of authors linked together from the US, England, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Sri Lanka, and Mongolia.
