On January 25, 2016, the Foundation will facilitate a workshop entitled Empowering Educators Through New Approaches to Producing Practice-Based Evidence to educators in San Diego. The objectives of the workshop include: (a) review of limitations of current approaches to educational research; (b) introduction of new approaches to practice-evidence in K-12 education, and (c) introduction of crowdfunding of practitioner-research projects and publication of practice-based evidence in K-12 educational settings through SPF. All educators in San Diego City Schools are welcome to participate in the workshop on Monday, January 25th, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., 10393 San Diego Mission Road, #100, San Diego, CA 92108.
