The research team members include: Zsófia Ádám, Cili Lohász, Melinda Mihály, Zóra Molnár, Annajuli Rosenfeld, Bernadett Sebály, Tessza Udvarhelyi, Zsuzsa Vass, and Miklós Zsámboki in the School of Public Life (SPL, www.kozeletiskolaja.hu). SPL is a community-based organization that develops democratic culture in Hungary by (1) improving the citizenship skills of people living in social exclusion, (2) supporting social movements and groups that fight for social justice, (3) pursuing participatory and community-based research and (4) supporting the strategic planning for social justice organizations. The participatory action research project titled “The history and future of our struggles” started in January 2020 in Budapest, Hungary, and it is planned to go on until the end of 2021. The ten members of our research team include activists and volunteers in grassroots organizations and social scientists. This research project is funded by the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (Foundation).
