Christine Edwards-Groves is Professor of Education and Research Fellow at Griffith University, Australia. Christine is an experienced teacher and teacher educator with more than almost four decades of experience researching and working in rural and geographically remote settings. She researches literacy, dialogic pedagogies, and middle leadership and has a long career facilitating action research with primary teachers and pre-service teachers. Currently, Christine is a chief investigator in an Australian Research Council research project examining the impact of middle leadership on student learning. Christine’s recent co-authored publications focusing on action research include Becoming a meaning maker: Talk and interaction in the primary classroom (PETAA, 2017), Middle leadership in schools (Routledge, 2020), and Generative leadership: Rescripting the promise of action research (2021).
