Christien Overdiep graduated from the University of Utrecht with a master’s degree in Youth, Education and Society. She began her career as a manager in a day care center, focussing on early childhood education. After getting her master’s degree in Education she became a primary school teacher. She also works as a researcher on teacher professional development and school innovation.

André Koffeman began his career as a teacher of Dutch and English, before becoming a teacher educator in Initial Teacher Education at the University of Amsterdam. He also works as a tutor in a master’s program for experienced teachers at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. His research focus is on teacher professional learning.
