I am an experienced primary school teacher from the Irish education system and I have had the opportunity to work in three countries in diverse settings. As a reflective practitioner I am especially interested organisational culture, professional growth, and being a supportive and solution-oriented leader. In the various locations, I have been part of many teams, some that were successful and others not so much and this piqued my interest in styles of leadership and cultures that promote positivity. progress and inclusion in a place of learning. My research focussed on leadership styles and school culture connection to teacher motivation and retention.
