As Director of the Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development (AASD) I have been engaged in practitioner research for over a decade. Primarily, this involves collaborating with high altitude indigenous communities in the Peruvian Andes. In addition to partnering on long-term community initiatives revolving around high altitude vegetable cultivation, I also bridge relationships between Andean communities and universities from the global north. In addition to being director of the AASD and co-host of The Action Research Podcast, I am also a PhD candidate researching community resident perspectives on international service learning.
