I serve as a lecturer of English at the Professional Development Center for Teachers, which is located at the Negombo Education Zone in Sri Lanka. I am qualified with Master’s degree in Teaching English as Secondary Language (TESL) and Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language Teaching. In addition, I have Diploma in Teaching English Speech and Drama and Diploma in Advance English. I have twenty years of experience as a Teacher of English and four years of experience as a Teacher Educator under the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka. I am interested in action research as they can be used to fill the gap between theory and practice.
