I am currently enrolled at California State University, East Bay, and will graduate in June 2015 with my Master of Science in Counseling, Pupil Personnel Services Credential, and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) intern status. I earned my Bachelor of Art in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Society and Environment from University of California, Berkeley. During college, I tutored and mentored students ranging in age from elementary to high school and of different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Immediately following graduation, I began working for a non-profit that provided extra school day support and after school programming to students. My vast experiences with youth have given me valuable insights that I use in my work as a school counselor-in-training.
