Meagan Call-Cummings (PhD, Indiana University Bloomington) is an Assistant Professor of Research Methods at George Mason University’s College of Education and Human Development, where she teaches courses in critical qualitative inquiry, participatory action research, and narrative inquiry. Her work most often takes the form of participatory action research. Her most recent project, Courageous Conversations, is a youth participatory action research project that works to create space for critical dialogue and reflection around issues that are important to youth but often treated as taboo within the walls of typical high school classrooms in the United States (immigration policy, racial justice, gender identity…).
