The Young Researcher Group at William Howard School are sixth form students aged 18 to 19 who volunteered to lead their own research project in free lesson time in school. They are all studying psychology A-level and all interested in young people’s mental health. Kaz Stuart is a professor at the University of Cumbria and was funded to support the group to learn research skills, develop their own project and to write it up. Kaz is passionate about participatory research and its potential to change the world.
