I am a Lecturer with the Teacher Educator Service of Sri Lanka and currently work at Wayamba National Colleges of Education. I engage with academic works including action research related to preservice teacher education. I have 13 years of experience as a secondary science teacher as well as 2 years of experience as a school principal. I am very interested in doing action research because it is a part of my professional career. I have presented two action research projects at Sri Lankan research conferences previously and two action research papers at two online international conferences in 2020. Two of my action research papers were published in action research related magazines, one in “thinetha,” a magazine in Sri Lanka’s North-western province and another in a magazine in the Chilaw Educational Zone, Sri Lanka. I have conducted action research for the partial fulfilment of my Bachelor’s degree in Education as well as for my Master’s degree in education.
